The transition from a 6 string guitar to a 7 string guitar can be challenging as you might not quickly get used to the extra string and thicker neck. As a classic instrument of heavier metal genres, 7 string guitars open up many possibilities for guitarists. Ok WOW I didn't know I knew THAT many songs hahahaha, oh well, there's a nice list for all of the other beginners out there, hope that gives some of you something to practice :) If I think of any more, I'll add to the list. With an extra string and an extended range, the 7 string guitar is an amazingly versatile instrument. DIDDY- Bad Boys 4 life ( My very first song!) I KNOW IF U'VE BEEN PLAYING GUITAR FOR EVEN 2 WEEKS.U DEFINITLEY HAVE NOT MASTERED THESE TECHNIQUES.I HAVNT EVEN MASTERED THEM and im in the EXACT position as Idyll.because as u gain more experiance in guitar ur gonna learn more techniques like alternate picking and up and down strumming etc. That's the exact same position i am in.their are people on this forum saying that in 4 days they already know 3 or 4 songs.thats got to be Bull.because the first 4 days of guitar for me were sure as hell not like that.but anyway.i have been playing for about 8 monthis i think. I've been playing for 9 months and i'm now working on consolodating all that i know and perfecting it. But now after 9 months of playing i've realised my tone was rubbish and the rhythm terrible. I'd love to hear some actual recordings because i remember after two weeks of playing i thought i could play about 20 riffs from michael jackson to Rhcp. I gotta say that i dont believe half of you when you say you can play 10 songs after 2 weeks.

You just talking about the main riffs aye?Ĭos the solo and all is **** hard. They're all pretty easy but, hey, take it easy on me.
